Mr. David Massey

I live in Red Deer with my 21 year old son and our 5 year old GSD Ali or Al Dog.  My oldest son is in Calgary at U of C.

This is my first year teaching grades 5 and 6 after spending 22 years in Sylvan Lake teaching grades 7 and 8.  I will be teaching Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Phys.Ed. and Art this year.  I am really looking forward to the change and I am excited to be at Penhold Elementary. 

In my spare time I enjoy cooking, baking, and yard work; painting Canadian landscapes and wildlife using acrylics on canvas.  I also enjoy hiking and mountain biking.  I cheer for the Montreal Canadiens, Saskatchewan Roughriders and watch the NFL closely.
