Hello Penhold Elementary!

I am extremely excited to be part of the Penhold Elementary School Team again next year!  I have been a part of Chinook's Edge School Division since 2007 where I started my teaching career.  I spent the first 10 years of my career teaching High School Math and Science before I moved into administrative and division office roles.  

I attended the University of Calgary for my Bachelor of Science degree in Physics as well as my Bachelor of Education degree.  Teaching children about math and science is definitely a passion of mine in addition to creating meaningful programs and effective assessment which is what I completed my Masters in Education from Queen's University out of Kingston Ontario in.  

I live in Springbrook with my husband Todd, three daughters, Anabelle, Gabriella and Chloe, an adorable Cocker Spaniel named Gemma and our two cats.  As a mom of 3 school aged kids, most of my time is spent watching my kids on stage dancing, playing volleyball, playing softball or running around between practices.  Outside of that I love to travel, spend time on the water and with family and friends.

I am excited to be able to spend every day with all the amazing kids, staff and community members of Penhold Elementary.  It truly is a GREAT place to be.
