Miss Sydney Boone

Hello Penhold Panthers! My name is Sydney Boone, and I am thrilled to continue being a part of the Penhold Elementary team and the wonderful community of Penhold. I grew up in Red Deer, Alberta, and earned my Bachelor of Education degree in 2020 from the University of Alberta, specializing in Middle Years Education. Over the past few years, I have had the pleasure of teaching at Penhold Elementary, where I have been teaching, growing, and learning alongside grade four students.

In my spare time, my favourite thing to do is play and go on walks with my puppy Millie! My fiance Bennett and I are busy planning our wedding which will take place in the summer of 2025. I love to spend time with my family and friends, downhill and cross-country ski, golf, play pickleball, bike, and kayak. Spending time outdoors is my favorite thing to do! 

I have always known I wanted to be a teacher because of my passion for caring for others and helping them achieve great things. I am excited to continue getting to know all the students and supporting them in any way I can to create a fun and engaging learning environment this year.
